INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The largest consumer motorcycle show tour launches its first Indianapolis event during Dealer Expo weekend in February 2013.

The Progressive International Motorcycle Shows will make a weekend stop at the Indiana Convention Center Feb. 15-17, co-locating with the 2013 Dealernews International Powersports Dealer Expo being held that same weekend in a separate area of the facility.

“Our goal in developing one, single powersports weekend was to make sure we listened carefully to our customers, so that we created the right format, in the right city, at the right price and built the combined trade and consumer industry event they wanted,” said Advanstar Executive Vice President Danny Phillips.

Dealers attending the 2013 Dealer Expo will be able to visit the motorcycle show for free on Sunday afternoon. Show management encourages dealers to schedule meetings with their OEMs during this time. Dealers also will have the opportunity to view the 2013 models from a number of vehicle manufacturers.

Consumers will not be granted access to the Dealer Expo, nor any of its features and events, until Sunday afternoon, when the entire facility will be open to all trade and consumer attendees. The Dealer Expo will remain a secured, trade-only event from Friday morning to noon on Sunday, according to show management.

Ultimate Builder Rolls Into LA

The Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show moves into Long Beach on January 7-9, 2012. The SOCAL show is always an exciting one as many of the nation’s most noteworthy builders make a presence.

Promoting Kustom Bikes

We’ve designed the show for manufacturers, builders and dealers. We provide each participant with a motorcycle pad and a steel ring that encircles the bike. We encourage interaction with the crowd with owners handing out brochures and business cards. Average attendance is 50,000+ enthusiasts.

Working the Ultimate Builder has led to sales of customs, new and used bikes as well as parts, accessories and service for our dealers, builders and manufacturers.

Promoting the Kustom Industry

We construct a photo studio on the premises. We will shoot your bike and make the photography available to you. You can bring a model and / or parts to include in the photography session.

On Sunday afternoon we host the awards ceremony. Bikernet will be providing an editors choice award with the winner receiving a bike feature. We have 5 classes with $7,000 in prize money and over $500 in prizes. There is a small fee to enter depending upon your class. If you bring 2 bikes we provide a 10% discount. For 4 bikes, we provide a 25% Discount.

Matrix & Gard Hollinger form Arch Motorcycle Company

Biker Pros Provides Publicity Services

Gard Hollinger and actor Keanu Reeves are collaborating on the new custom motorcycle company, Arch Motorcycle Company.
Biker Pros Provides Publicity Services
Arch Motorcycle Co. is the result of a longtime friendship between Hollinger — of L.A. County Choprods fame — and Reeves, and their search for the ideal machine.

The two first met when the actor worked with Hollinger on customizing one of his motorcycles. This led to a friendship and the realization that both of them had similar beliefs about bike design and performance, and “a life on two wheels.”

Why Use a Model in your Social Media?

Biker Pros Asks, Why Use WOmen
Biker Pros Asks, Why Use Models in your Social Media Posts?

Why are women used in Powersports? Influencing others isn’t luck or magic – its science. There are proven ways to help make you more successful as a marketer.

Sex sells because it attracts attention. People are hard wired to notice sexually relevant information so ads with sexual content get noticed.

Sex is an easy way to get the attention of males and make a product seem desirable. Women are objectified, and men are swayed to purchase the product and as a reward, get the women.

In one study, men who saw a new-car ad that included a seductive young woman model rated the car as faster, more appealing, more expensive-looking, and better designed than did men who viewed the same ad without the model.

One caveat, If the model is to sexy, it overrides the product and the viewer fails to register it.
