Christian Dotson takes Dallas Ultimate Builder World Champs Affiliate Win

Corsicana, Tx. based custom bike builder Christian Dotson scooped top honors in the FreeStyle class at the weekend in the first round of this winter’s Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show World Championship affiliate competition, hosted at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show series opener at Dallas, Tx.

Dotson won with ‘Swingshot’, the radically styled project built around a 93 inch Accurate Engineering ‘Panhead’ style engine with which he announced himself on the custom scene by scoring an impressive 10th place in the AMD World Championship in 2007.

More Businesses use Twitter, Facebook

A surge in social-media use by small businesses reflects a shift in how they operate and their comfort with increasingly easy-to-use technology.

In growing numbers, small-business owners are adopting social-networking services, location-based services, Twitter and online video to promote products and services, according to a new study by MerchantCircle, a social network for small businesses. It polled a fraction of its more than 1.3 million members.
