OCC is Building Brand Awareness

Marvel has teamed up with Orange County Choppers for an exclusive line of co-branded motorcycles and merchandise.

The program, which rolls out this fall, will include production-line choppers and custom motorcycles, as well as apparel, toys and collectibles—all featuring Marvel’s characters and franchises, including classic Spider-Man, classic Hulk, classic Iron Man, classic Wolverine, Marvel Heroes, Marvel Comics/Retro, Marvel Extreme, Marvel Universe and Marvel Studios’ upcoming film properties, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America and Avengers.

The co-branded motorcycles and merchandise will be available exclusively through OCC’s distribution channels, including its Newburgh, N.Y., retail store, Web site and dealer network. OCC was founded by Paul Teutul Sr., who stars on TLC reality series “American Chopper.”

The character-based entertainment company and Harley-Davidson Motor Company have paired with SGI Apparel to roll out an exclusive collection of co-branded merchandise. The apparel and accessories line for newborns, infants, toddlers and kids will feature Marvel’s superheroes and iconic images of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, trademarks and logos. Beginning in November, the collection will be sold only through Harley-Davidson dealers worldwide.

This January, Iron Man and Spider-Man custom-designed monster trucks will be added to the worldwide Monster Jam tour, in a deal between Marvel and Feld Motor Sports. The agreement also includes co-branded merchandise sold onsite at the shows and at www.monsterjam.com. The novelties will include apparel, accessories, specialty items, posters, stickers and show yearbooks, as well as DVD inclusion.
